We are growing strongly and are positioning ourselves internationally. At the same time, we will advance the expansion of artificial intelligence behind our platform and internationalize our platform modules.
To this end, we are setting up the marcapo TECH BASE in Sofia and are committed to Bulgaria on a long-term basis. We are planning to set up a location with around 20-30 employees within the next years.
Because since our first visit to Sofia, we fell in love with the city and the people.

The teams will mostly be set up across locations (TECH BASE Sofia and TECH BASE Bamberg). You will immediately work in a team and get to know the structures of marcapo software development and the marcapo platform.
If you feel like leading people, there is the option of building your own team in the medium term.
Of course you can also visit your teammates in Bamberg and work with them on site. The same goes for them too if they want to get to know Sofia and the new TECH BASE.

The marcapo marketing platform is used by many well-known European brands to control their brand locally. The local trade structures are perfectly supported in their marketing. Milen is a software engineer and IT entrepreneur with more than 15 years of experience. He is a certified Agile coach and is responsible for setting up an efficient work process, hiring and developing the needed talent to realize marcapo's challenging product roadmap. He will be leading the Bulgarian team together with Christian.
Patricia has been working at marcapo Germany for more than 16 years. For our new office in Sofia she is responsible for recruitment and staffing. Her strengths are staff management and staff development and all topics relating to the organisation and communication of the technology sector.
Christian is the managing director of marcapo Germany and together with milen for marcapo Bulgaria. He loves programming and has been in the computer world for more than 38 years. Christian studied business informatics and is enthusiastic about innovations and new technologies. He is a visionary and innovator for our office here in Sofia and for the technical development of our portfolio.
